With a heavy heart I am sad to say we have lost a Good Friend, fellow Archery. Tim Meyer pass a way this past week, 5/12/22. He will be missed by many of us members that knew and shot archery with him over the years!

Tim Meyer, 61, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at his home.Tim was born in Willmar, Minnesota and was preceded in death by his father, Stan Meyer. He was employed at Gulfstream as an Avionics Engineering Technical Specialist in the Gulfstream Electronic Systems Engineering organization. His latest assignments were various special missions programs which are specially modified aircraft for the U.S. government and military as well as foreign customers. He also was involved with the G500 and G600 aircraft development and certification programs, among other programs. He was an avid Archer winning numerous medals and trophies at local and state tournaments. He also enjoyed biking, wood working, and loved the ocean. One of his prized possessions outside his archery bows was a “Meyer” lemon tree.Survivors include his son, Austin Meyer; five grandchildren, Landon, Katie, Kylie, Archer, and Rowan; mother, Virgene Meyer; sisters, Vicki, Pam, and Lori, as well as his brother, Matthew.The visitation will be from 1 until 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the Thomas C.
